Children in the US are getting more ear infections then ever, and with the rise in complications from antibiotic-resistant bacteria due to overuse of antibiotics, many parents are searching for safer alternatives for treatment and prevention.
There are many factors that can cause ear infections in children.
These include allergies, infection, mechanical obstruction, nutritional deficiency, birth trauma, not breast feeding, pacifier use, and iatrogenic or medical causes.
